Federation Graduate Student Research Symposium

The Federation of North Texas Area Universities established in 1968 with guidance from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, enables the sharing of resources between the University of North Texas at Denton (UNT), Texas Woman's University at Denton, and Texas A&M University-Commerce. One of the major benefits of this special agreement is that it allows graduate students from each of the member universities to expand their course offerings through cross-registration while receiving credit and paying tuition at their home institution.

The Federation hosts their Graduate Student Research Symposium each year.  This annual event gives our graduate students the opportunity to connect and share their research, in the form of poster presentations, with students and faculty from each of the three participating Federation universities (UNT, TWU, and Texas A&M-Commerce) and compete for cash awards.
