Collaborative Learning w/ Dr. Stem
Explore communication challenges and strategies for interpersonal conflict in collaborative learning spaces, as well as in one-on-one interactions. Humans use all kinds of elements to convey meaning. In today’s modern world, digital communications can create problems because vital information like facial expressions or hand gestures is missing from the conversation. In this workshop, we’ll learn the importance of building a solid foundation with others to improve your credibility and trust in others.

UNT alum Dr. Wiley Stem with Counseling & Testing Services is offering a virtual support group to UNT graduate students. The group, titled "Thriving in Graduate School," is a group space designed for students to give and receive support on topics such as stress management, imposter syndrome, and communication/conflict, among other topics. The group meets virtually weekly Fridays from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. If you think you'd benefit from a space to share your experiences and get perspective from fellow graduate students, join us!
