Identifying Your Skills and Goal Setting with Amy Hicks
UNT Career Coaches and Internship Specialists are available to meet with all UNT students and alumni. Appointments are available in-person, virtually, and by email and phone. Amy Hicks is a Career Coach, and supports all UNT Alumni and Toulouse Graduate School career services. Amy earned an MBA from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor of General Studies in Criminal Justice and Health Studies from Texas Woman’s University. Amy likes helping students and alumni by exploring opportunities and identifying strengths and skills to create action steps for professional growth. She works with clients to create connection strategies and effective documents and to fully utilize tools and resources. Amy also teaches Professional Development Strategies in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business.
As you begin considering options for your future career, it’s important to think carefully about your unique interests, values, and strengths. When do you feel most energized and capable? What considerations are most important to you when thinking about your future life and career? What are your unique strengths and talents? UNT has several assessment techniques available to help you discover more about yourself so you can factor these important aspects into your choice of major and future career.
