Preparing Materials for the Academic Job

It is never too early to start preparing your written materials if you plan to apply for faculty jobs or other academic positions. In this workshop, we introduce the most common genres requested by search committees, such as job letters, statements of teaching philosophy, and research statements. We will review samples and discuss how you can make your own documents successful.

Presented by: Jim Redmond, Erica Peterson, and Brian Clifton, Graduate Writing Tutors; UNT Writing Center
