Smart Literature Searching for the Sciences

Not sure how to get started on your dissertation or thesis proposal? A science reference librarian will give you an overview of how to prepare for and write your proposal. Graduate students in the first two years of their programs will benefit most from the workshop. Please bring your own laptop or check one out at the library. Consider attending the other workshops offered on the same day: How to Write the Dissertation/Thesis Proposal in the Sciences, Introduction to RefWorks, or LaTeX for Beginners.

Note: this workshop does not have writing exercises.
