Smart Literature Searching for the Social Sciences

Not sure how to get started on your dissertation or thesis proposal? A social science professor will give you an overview of how to prepare for and write your proposal. Graduate students in the first two years of their programs will benefit most from the workshop. Please bring your own laptop or check one out at the library. Consider attending the other two workshops offered on the same day: How to Write the Dissertation/Thesis Proposal in the Social Sciences or Introduction to RefWorks.

Note: this workshop does not have writing exercises.
