Welcome to the ORC Workshop Series

Join us on September 5 and 6  from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm for "Basics of R Programming: An Introductory Workshop," hosted by the Office of Research and Consulting (ORC) . Over the course of these two days, participants will receive a comprehensive overview of fundamental R programming concepts.

The "Basics of R programming: An Introductory workshop" is designed for individuals who are new to programming and data analysis or those looking to transition from other software to R. This workshop will provide participants with a foundational understanding of the R programming language and its applications in data science and statistical analysis.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the basic skills required to navigate RStudio, write simple R scripts, conduct preliminary data analysis, and create basic visual representations of data. They will also be directed to resources for deepening their understanding and expanding their skillset in R programming.

Presenters: Xiaolu Fan, Nduka Boika, Nino Kokiashvili

Note: We suggest all participants bring personal computers to ensure an interactive, hands-on experience during the workshops.
